Is This My Red Sports Car??
Remember in movies (or real life, depending on what tax bracket you grew up in), when the hard working corporate man would have a mid-life crisis and buy himself a red sports car (among other indiscretions). I think I might be in my red sports car era – only it’s a dog stroller for Winston – just went full white woman tonight, zero regrets.
I’ve been thinking a lot about what makes me happy, what I want for myself, what my interests are which should help me define goals, directions, hobbies even. Right now, I am thankful for the gym – it helps me feel in control of something, and calms my mind (only so much space for anxiety when you’re fighting for your life… ). I’ve never understood people who had tons of hobbies and interests, or were super fans of music artists or actors – I have never “fan girled” over anything, am I the only one? Honestly leave me a comment I’m interested to understand this. Wait I lie, I had a ‘Team Jacob’ t-shirt, I’m sure that counts, right? ‘Team Edward’ people don’t come at me, he sparkled.
Life is a funny thing, when we’re teenagers we have it allllll figured out don’t we – boy were we wrong. Well, mostly wrong – Biggie and Tupac really are the greatest ever.
