PB & Apple Sauce Protein Balls
Ingredients
1/3 Cup Unsweetened Apple Sauce
1 1/2 Cups PB Fit (any powered PB will do, my taste preference is PB Fit)
30 Grams of Lily’s Chocolate Chips (can be white chocolate, milk, or PB chips)
1 TBSP Swerve Powered Sugar
Instructions
Add PB Fit and Swerve to bowl and mix together
Add apple sauce and mix into a dough. This step is not for the weak, you will need to use your hands. Have a TSP measurement close by, you may need to add 1 or 2 tsp of apple sauce to get the desired dough consistency. The mixture will form a ball.
Separate into 12 balls (a table spoon scoop is helpful)
Place on parchment paper and refrigerate
Microwave chocolate to melt, 30 second intervals at a time
Dip or drizzle chocolate over protein balls. This is a personal preference, both are delish.
Place back on parchment paper and refrigerate for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes place in a container and keep in the fridge.
Notes
I like my treats sweet, if you prefer a less sweet option leave out the Swerve powered sugar. If you don’t have this product, you can add whatever you have on hand.
Parchment paper is not an option, these will be impossible to get off of a plate (I speak from experience).
