You have a Blog?
One thing that I’ve mentioned here before that weighs on me most of the time is living my day to day life differently, get off the sofa, put the phone down, yadda yadda yadda. So on Saturday, I had my breakfast did some Lego and then proclaimed loudly to myself “No, get up” … So I got up and decided I was going to walk to Dollarama for birthday decorations. I checked the KM’s only 3.3, I can do this – so I did. Now, before you ask no, I didn’t walk home I made my driver come and get me.
We had a great weekend celebrating Nicole’s birthday. For whatever reason I wanted a cheeseburger SO bad. Ordered a burger from Five Guys – onion, mushroom, cheese, (no bun, I still struggle post RNY with breads). This morning we went to brunch at OEB, my first restaurant experience which was awkward, scary and relieving at the same time.
I prepped breakfast, lunch and snacks for the next 4 days. Life is so much easier when you prep but I have to tell you, not having a personal chef is absolute horse shit. Like, why don’t I have the same annual income as Oprah? It just doesn’t make sense. Also, why do I do laps around the kitchen like an Olympic track star – the older I get the more times a day I say to myself “why am I in the fucking pantry”? There is a good chance it’s just genetics and not age (Yes Bevvie Jo I’m talking to you).
I asked Jimmy the other day if he was reading my blog, his response “you have a blog”. My parting thoughts for you today, it’s clear that in strong marriages communication is key.
